“The Full Monty” is set in Buffalo, New York where the local steel mill has just folded. Buddies Jerry and Dave have been laid off, struggling to survive and anxious about their future.
After seeing the wildly enthusiastic reactions of their wives and girlfriends to a Chippendale’s style troupe, Jerry comes up with the idea of doing a one-night performance to make some quick money.
“The Full Monty” sizzles with heat and heart. As the guys work through their fears and self-consciousness, they discover renewed self-esteem, the importance of friendship and the ability to have fun. Their journey is hilarious, poignant and ultimately triumphant as they face that ultimate moment of revelation.
