A power point presentation will share the life and accomplishments of Irving R Eyster and his lifetime endeavors to save the history of the Florida Keys. He is a great historian, archeologist, explorer, author, professor, mentor, collector of Keys memorabilia and a major contributor to our Florida Keys.
Eyster has collected thousands of artifacts, photos and memorabilia from more than a half a century of living in the Keys. In addition to being a founder and President of the Matecumbe Historical Trust, he has founded or been a founding member of more than 30 organizations in the Florida Keys and throughout the state.
Come for a preview as the dreams of this historian, his family, friends and supporters move closer to the reality of the museum which bears his name and the items and exhibits that will be housed in the museum.
