Clean space and wonderful tropical Northern light showcase works of the island’s most unique,accomplished, talented and diverse artists at Lucky Street Gallery. Lucky Street has a thirty year tradition of presenting the best of contemporary and cutting edge artwork to Key West residents and visitors. The Gallery seeks to engage, educate, excite, and challenge the viewer with sculpture, paintings, pottery, constructions, and mixed media works by Key West’s best local artists. Unique and precious objets and fine art crafts have also been sourced for the Gallery’s patrons, not only from Key West, but from around the globe.
From 6 to 8 p.m. the public is invited to enjoy this slightly off-center, but gorgeous art, as part of the show curated by Tyler Buckheim, an art consultant at the gallery.
Works by Michael Costello, Lincoln Perry, and Lynne Bentley-Kemp feature the power of masks and costumes, as well as people in fantasy play.
