It is seven years this month since the United States government agreed to give 33 acres of land, referred to as the Truman Waterfront, to the residents of Key West for the purposes of economic development.

Since then, plans have been formulated and local voters have approved referendums for allowable uses. Yet, to date, nothing has been happening on this valuable piece of real estate.
