Mermaid HammockKey West may not have the traditional snow and sleigh rides of this Season, but there is never a shortage of Holiday Cheer on our island of bliss. In fact, this is where Santa comes to vacation. I just saw him lounging in a hammock at the Mermaid and the Alligator Bed & Breakfast!

The jolly old elf knows where to stay for total relaxation amid a lush garden of greenery. The Mermaid and the Alligator has long been known for excellence, comfort and traditional island style. Of course, that’s why Santa is here.

You can see the Mermaid in all of her holiday glory in December during the Key West Lighted Inn Tour on Friday, Dec. 18th.  Explore the unique architecture and history, and delight in holiday ambiance in a tropical setting.  The tours are self-guided.   Free trolley transportation will be provided between inns but participants are welcome to bike or use their own transportation.  Buy tickets here: www.keystix.com.
